A gathering that brought young people from Helsingborg together with women and men who carry experience of life and of what it takes to succeed and to grow.
The day began with Helsingborgshem, who spoke about their part in supporting the community and its young people — our warm thanks for their cooperation and their support. Then we welcomed a fine group of young people from Sadda, who spoke about their small projects and their large dreams and shared what they had learned with real commitment.

One of the most moving moments came from a young woman who spoke bravely about the hard road she had travelled, about her time in the care of social services and about the way back to her family. She spoke about what she had faced and how she turned it into strength, and she is studying today to become a social worker so that she can be there for others in the same position.
Several members of Sadda also shared their own life stories and the road that brought them to where they are, and made the point that success asks you to try, to hold on, and never to give up. One of the most memorable items was “creative failure”, where everyone spoke about what had gone wrong for them and what they had learned — a reminder that success is not born of comfort but of carrying on trying.

At the end of the meeting the creative work was honoured. Thank you to Helsingborgshem, to the young woman who shared her road, and to every young person who shared their dreams, their projects and their experience. Meeting you was a source of inspiration and of pride for us all.
