Membership
How do I become a member?
Pick a level on the Membership page and fill in the form — it takes a minute. A Swish code with the right amount and reference appears straight afterwards, so you can pay right away.
What does membership cost?
150 kr a year for one person, 200 kr for a mother with her children and 250 kr for two adults with their children. Every level runs by the year.
How can I pay?
By Swish. The code shown after your application already carries the amount and the reference, so all you do is scan and approve. If that will not work for you, get in touch and we will sort it out.
Why is there a reference number?
It ties your payment to your application. Without it the account shows only an amount, and we cannot tell whose membership has been paid. Put it in the Swish message — scan the code and it is already there.
Activities and events
Can I come along without being a member?
Our open events are open to everyone, and each event says whether it is one. Do get in touch if you are wondering about a particular occasion.
Why is no time given for the walks?
We publish the weekday and the date and leave the hour open — it depends on the weather and on who can make it. Get in touch before a walk you would like to join and we will tell you when we set off.
Are activities held in Swedish or Arabic?
Both. The association works in Swedish and Arabic, and several activities are built around practising Swedish together — the walks among them, where the conversation follows the place we are visiting.
Can I suggest an activity?
Yes. Write to us through the contact form and choose “Suggest an activity” — it then reaches the right person on the board.
About the association
Who runs Sadda Förening?
A board of seven, elected by the members. Who they are and what each of them answers for is on the Board page.
How is the work paid for?
By membership fees, together with support from study associations and partner organisations. The statutes and the annual report are published under About the association as soon as the annual meeting has adopted them.

What happens to the details I send you?
They are used only to reply to you or to handle your membership. The whole of it is set out in the privacy policy.
Supporting us
Can I support you without becoming a member?
Yes. The Support us page has a Swish code where you choose the amount yourself — once, or whenever you like.
We would like to sponsor or partner — how do we start?
Write to us through the contact form and choose “Support or sponsor”, and the board will come back to you. The association already works with study associations and local organisations; they are listed under Partners.
Can I help out as a volunteer?
Yes — volunteering and taking part in community projects comes with membership. Write to us and choose “I would like to help”, and we will tell you what is needed right now.

When you join Sadda Förening you are not simply joining an association — you become part of a family that builds bridges between cultures and works for understanding and belonging in Swedish society.
Once you have chosen a membership you fill in the form and pay the fee by Swish. The amount and the reference are shown to you automatically, and the membership starts when the payment arrives.
