An association since 2018
About us
An association that gathers people around knowledge, culture and taking part.
Sadda Förening was founded in Åstorp in 2018 and began its work in earnest in 2019. Since then the association has kept a welcoming place where women and families from many backgrounds meet, share what they know and what they have lived, and build new ties in Swedish society.
We believe that belonging does not come from being present alone, but from taking part, feeling at home, and being able to make a difference. So we build bridges between cultures, encourage conversation and mutual respect, and give everyone a way to be an active part of society.
That turns into real activities: cultural and social gatherings, workshops and courses, health activities, outings and events for the whole family. They are there to give knowledge and confidence, widen the circle of people you know, and open new rooms to learn and take part in.
Sadda works with the family in all its parts, with particular attention to women, young people and children. The association also works with study associations, institutions and local partners to develop what it does and reach more people.
Founded in 2018 — its work in the community began in 2019.
