An outing for the association's members

Each participant cooked a dish beginning with her own initial and set her place to match her clothes — and the day ended with a walk in the forest.

Sadda Kulturförening arranged an outing with the members who take part in its educational activities. The main aim was for the members to get to know one another, to add to the warmth and affection between them, and for all of us to feel we have a real family here, far from home.

There was a fine arrangement to the food: each woman brought a dish beginning with the first letter of her name, and matched the colour of her place setting to her clothes — so the sight was full of taste, invention and affection.

The mood was warm, full of clear laughter and a spirit of cooperation that gladdens the heart. A round of questions and answers brought us closer still, and we ended the day with a walk in the forest, to let go of what weighs and leave room for rest and renewal.
