An evening where sisters and friends from Syria, Palestine, Iraq and Morocco shared their traditions — Arab and Kurdish.
In an atmosphere full of friendliness, affection and family, we gathered yesterday for a fine evening that brought together hearts from several cultures.
The subject of the evening was traditions and customs at feasts and on special days, where those present exchanged their experience and enriched the conversation with fine accounts of their heritage. With us were Arab and Kurdish sisters from several countries: Syria, Palestine, Iraq and Morocco.
It was a gathering that showed the richness of cultural variety and the beauty of people meeting — where heritage mixes with a smile, and experience with affection, so that together we make a picture of colours and cultures.
