Towards one Syrian voice

A meeting about founding a council for the Syrian community — and a decision to wait until as many people as possible have been reached.

A meeting brought together a number of Syrian women and men, at the invitation of Sadda Kulturförening in Helsingborg, at which the question of founding a council for the Syrian community was discussed.

We would like to make clear that no formal council has yet been founded. It was decided to wait until as many Syrians as possible have been reached, so that they have the chance to choose their representatives fairly and together.

Anyone who wishes to take part in the work is welcome to get in touch.
